Heist Props!

We've been quiet lately. It's true. But you can stop clamoring, everyone. We've emerged from our beachside barn with a brand new theatrical campaign. To promote the release of the upcoming Ben Stiller/Eddie Murphy comedy Tower Heist, we created Heist It Back.

For a month leading up to the film's release, we hid Heist buttons around Facebook. Upon finding them, users would instantly win Facebook Credits. The campaign was a success: the 1 million Credit pool evaporated quite rapidly. We were featured in Facebook Studio, plus we got some great coverage from publications like Ad Age. The Zimbabwe Guardian even got in on the action.

We're also happy to report that Heist It Back is a Mashable Award nominee for "Most Innovative Use of Social Media." Voting is open for 12 more days, so in the spirit of the game, why not help us Heist a victory?
