This is the official movie site we designed and built for Universal's romantic drama, Love Happens. The film had a heavy feature on lead characters, Jennifer Aniston and Aaron Eckhart, and heavy themes of love and loss.

Our challenge was to make the online environment inviting and uplifting while also keeping the film compelling. We took full advantage of the characters' quirks by employing them throughout the site. Using upbeat imagery, character-centric tie-ins and shareable elements we created a positive, engaging environment that highlights the movie's more comforting qualities.  

The Seattle skyline reflects the current time of day in Seattle and Eckhart's character's "A-Okay" seminar brochure acts as a flash alternative to site navigation. We also created a lighthearted visual personality quiz that users could share in several ways, most frequently on Facebook using Facebook Connect. Under a tight deadline, the site launched with great success. From time to time some of us curl up with a blankey and some Ben & Jerry's to re-watch the flick and reflect.
